Melissa Cole Barker, 42, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014 in Vina, She was born in Alabama, was a parts manager at Page Chevrolet for seven years and a Baptist.

Services were Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Bro. Wayne Bumgart and Bro. Rex Riddle officiating. Burial was in Sparks Chapel Cemetery, Vina.

Survivors are her husband, John Barker, Vina; two sons, Derek Cole and Cody Wilkinson, both of Red Bay; one daughter, Katelyn Wilkinson, Red Bay; one grandchild, Lannah Loveless, Red Bay; her mother, Marie Cole, Red Bay; one brother, Michael Cole, Red Bay; and a special aunt, Mary Barksdale and her husband, David Barksdale.

She was preceded in death by her father, Royce Cole.

Pallbearers were Tim Burfield, Brandon Cole, Cory Mims, Ross Barker, Ronald Barker and Jordan Ruple.

Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, and until service time on Wednesday.
