Nonnie Sue Davis, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at Southhampton Rehab. She was born in Tremont, Miss. and was formerly of Hampton Cove. She had been a math teacher at HuntsvilleHigh School. She was a member of LakewoodBaptistChurch.

Services were Saturday, Nov. 8, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, RedBay, with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating. Burial was in RidgeCemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are one son, Charles Davis “Cookie” Hampton Cove; four grandchildren,  Glenn Fuell, Columbia, S.C., Brooke, Erika and Paige Davis, all of Hampton Cove; one sister, Elowese Humphres, Red Bay; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Dow Davis; her parents, Hoy Davis and Eddy Ledbetter Davis; and two brothers, Laurece Davis and Vivian “V.W.” Davis.

Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 8, at Deaton Funeral Home, RedBay.
