Susie Matilda Stringer Burrow, age 95, born Dec. 10, 1918, Mt. Zion Community in Cherokee, entered the gates of Heaven Nov. 11, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James Ernest Burrow; grandson, Gregory Burrow; great-grandson, Eric Blake Harris,

Survivors include sons, Don Burrow and wife, Jenny, Kenneth Burrow and wife, Deb; daughters, Anne Harris and husband, Bill, Linda Broaddrick and husband, Gerald, Sandra Freeman and husband, Ricky, Rita Skelton and husband, Eddie; grandchildren who lovingly called her “MawMaw Till”, David Burrow and wife, Sherry, Gayla Pounders, Darlene Townsend and husband, Will, Danita Lindsey, Jason Harris and wife, Jada, Jeremy Harris and wife, Jin, Bambi Carswell and husband, Chris, Patrick Freeman, Gabrielle Freeman, Consuela Rice and husband, Jeff, Shon Ritch and wife, Myra, Ryan Ritch, Justin White, Noah White and wife, Christy, Jonah White and friend, Mia Jackson; great-grandchildren, Gregg Burrow and wife, Shoko, Ashley Burrow, Dallas Burrow, Grace Burrow, Jessie Burrow, Ethan Burrow, Jessica Haddock and husband, Joe, Ramsey Harris and wife, Kristen, Taylor Harris, Madeline Harris, Isabelle Harris, Tanner Lindsey, Brady Townsend, Cooper Townsend, Lewis Campbell, Olivia Rice, Hadden Carswell, Millie Carswell, Annabelle Ritch, Shiloh Ritch, Wriley Ritch, Hayden White; great-great-grandson, Preston Haddock; several nieces and nephews that call her “Aunt Till”.

The visitation was Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service was Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Danny Russell officiating. Burial followed in LibertyHillCemetery, Phil Campbell.

We would like to say thanks to Dr. Ronald McCoy for the care and love he gave mother, and Southern Care Hospice, Ruby, Kristen, Valerie and Dawn.
