James Noble Blackburn, age 83 of Russellville, passed away Nov. 14, 2014. The visitation was Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 at Akins Funeral Home followed by a service in the Chapel, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating was Bro Clinton Busler and Bro. Bo Lloyd. He is preceded in death by his wife Claudia Garrett Blackburn; sons, James Ray and Aubrey Randall Blackburn; Parents, Arthur Lee and Floy Blackburn, and brother, Barney Blackburn. He is survived by children, Gary Blackburn and wife Linda, Kenneth Blackburn and Sheila Blackburn Clark; siblings, Clyneice Ledbetter, Guy Blackburn, Raymond Blackburn and wife, Linda, and Larry Blackburn and wife, Stella; grandchildren, Kevin Blackburn, Kristi Dempsey and husband, Terry, Michaela Clark, JJ, Michael and Bandy Blackburn; great grandchildren, Braxton Dempsey, Katie Gracie and Emma Dempsey and Elana Blackburn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
