Lowell Lothair Copeland, 84, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Mr. Copeland was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a self-employed construction worker.  He was a member of Pleasant Hill First Congregational Methodist Church.

The funeral service was Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Church with burial in East Franklin Cemetery.  Darryl Whitehead, Larry Crumpton and John Stancil officiated.  The family received friends on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.

Survivors include wife, Bobbie Nell Copeland; children, Jeffery Lothair Copeland and wife, Valerie, Marvin Hugh Copeland and wife, Tina, and Veronica Copeland Stancil and husband, John; grandchildren, Jasper Copeland and wife, Katie, Kellie Copeland Hargett and husband, Dustin, Keisha Copeland, Kyle Copeland and wife Amanda, Justus Stancil and Jonah Stancil; great-grandchildren, Leah Copeland and Kazlyn Hammett; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Lucian Copeland, Rucian Copeland, Charles Copeland, Jasper Copeland, Kyle Copeland, Dustin Hargett and Justus Stancil.

He was preceded in death by parents, William F. and Mary L. Copeland; brothers, Price Copeland and Robert Copeland.
