James Michael “Mike” Edwards, age 62, Hodges, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at Russellville Health Care.

The visitation was be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Matthew Reed officiated.  Burial was at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by parents, James William Edwards & Flossie Irene Nix Edwards.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Tina Higgins and husband, Stevie, nephews, Chris Higgins and wife, Shea, Brian Higgins; and great-nephews, Dawson Higgins, Braxton Higgins.

The pallbearers will be Jeff Higgins, Coby Wiginton, Chris Higgins, Brian Higgins, John Taylor, Nick Burdick, Bradley Nix, and Jerry Mask.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Russellville Health Care and the Ascera Hospice nurses.  They all loved Mike and he loved them all.
