James Wendell “Whiskers” Taylor, 63, Russellville, passed away on Friday, Jan. 09, 2015.

He was retired employee of Livestock Auction and a member of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association.

The visitation was 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.   The funeral was at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Ric Chambless was the speaker at the funeral.  Burial will be at Taylor Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wiley Taylor & Frances Cheatham.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jimmy Taylor and wife, Renee, Jennifer Gindlesperger, Michael Carey, John Carey, Jeremy Taylor, Jacob Taylor (all of Ohio); several grandchildren; special nephew, Mickey O’Donnell, siblings, Shirley, Barb, Kenny, Bobby, Kathy, Brenda; and a host of nieces & nephews.
