T.R.A.C.K.S program offers employment opportunities

The Franklin County school system is gearing up for an exciting, fun-filled program for students Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 this summer.  As a result, additional employees may be needed at sites throughout the county.

Community Education operates six afterschool T.R.A.C.K.S. sites in Franklin County including one at each of the county schools. They provide a safe, supervised environment and academic enrichment for students Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. A summer program is also offered for those needing a safe environment for their child during the summer months. Students are given the opportunity to do arts, crafts, and recreational activities with extra opportunities such as field trips during the summer.

T.R.A.C.K.S. operates with an experienced staff to provide these services to participating students.  Franklin County Community Education is presently taking applications for employment in the T.R.A.C.K.S. program.  Job titles include Site Lead Teacher, Certified Teacher, Certified Teacher Aide, and Teacher Aide.

If you are interested in working for T.R.A.C.K.S. please call our office at 256-331-0005 or 256-332-1360 extension 1308, to find out more about employment opportunities. Contact us also if you wish to enroll your child in this 21st Century Afterschool Program.  We have sites at Red Bay, Vina, Belgreen, East Franklin, Phil Campbell, and Tharptown schools.
