Brother Wafford E. Bailey

Brother Wafford E. Bailey, 82, Littleville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital.

He was a native of Haleyville, but lived most of his life in the Littleville area.  He was a member of NorthHighlandBaptistChurch.  He had been in the ministry since his late

20’s. He retired from the ministry in December, 2004.

The family received friends on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service was in the funeral home chapel with Phillip Wright officiating.  Burial followed in ColbertMemorialGardens.

Survivors include daughter, Jean Ellen Burnett and husband, Steve, Muscle Shoals; sisters, Geneva Hughes, Bloomington, Ind., Peggy Neal, Russellville.

Pallbearers were Athel Scott, Billy Burks, Billy Mansell, Teddy Whitlock, Kenneth Copeland and Lloyd Baker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Bailey; parents, Brantley and Vergie Bailey; son, Tim Bailey.
