Mary W. Burfield

Mary W. Burfield, 67, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Burfield lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was retired from Lifeway Christian Resources.

The funeral service was at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, Nove. 15, 2015, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating was Jerome Sherrill and Eddie Wix. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12p.m. until service time.

Survivors include her husband, Hoyt W. Burfield; children: Crystal Burfield Bowen and husband, Woody and Hoyt W. Burfield, Jr.; brother, John (Johnny) Wood and wife, Mary Leigh; sister, Gwendolyn Ann Bailey and husband, Donald Ray; grandchild, Arlyn Bowen; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Wood, Jr., and Frannie Vinson Wood.

The family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama for their excellent care
