THS to host Donkey Basketball

By Bart Moss for the FCT

For anyone looking for some good old-fashioned entertainment and a few laughs at other people’s expense, Tharptown High School will be hosting Donkey Basketball Nov. 21.

“This will be great fun and entertainment,” said Tharptown Principal Barry Laster. “The funds will go to our school, and we think everyone will have a great time.”

Tharptown faculty and community members will be playing in this event. Advanced tickets are on sale now at the Tharptown High School office for $6. Ticket prices will increase to $8 the night of the event.

The game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m., and other games will be held throughout the evening.

Donkey Basketball is being brought to Tharptown by the Circle A Donkey Ranch in Henry, Tenn.
