Hazel Russell Hall

Hazel Russell Hall, age 93, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Tishomingo County, Miss. and captured the heart and spirit of a southern woman. A child of depression, she was strong, resilient and creative. She was widely known for her cooking skills, but dinner time with her was so much more. No one remained a stranger in her presence. Her laughter, easy words and stories fed spirits just as her wonderful meals fed the body. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God.

Services were Saturday, Nov. 21, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. David Kelley officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay.

Survivors are one daughter, Jane Williams and husband, John Red Bay; daughter-in-law, Brenda Hall, Red Bay; three grandchildren: Paul Russell Williams, Jennifer Rose Pierce and Rachael Hall Wilson and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lewis Hall, a son, Jimmy Wayne Hall, a granddaughter, Danielle Hall McDonald and her parents, Carl and Ludy Cleo Wigginton Russell.

Pallbearers were Billy Bolton, Scotty Kennedy, Herbert Trulove, Danny Pearson, Larry Parrish and Richard Pierce.

Visitation was Saturday, Nov. 21, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
