Jean C. Dagger

Jean Cayton Dagger, 87, Littleville, passed away Feb. 14 at her residence.

She lived most of her life in Romulus, Mich., but for the past 18 years she lived in Russellville. She was retired from Romulus School District, where she was a school aide for 20 years.

There was a memorial service Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. Daniel Welborn officiating. The family received friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include children, William Dagger and wife Melissa, Stephen Dagger and wife Jill, Wendy Keller and husband Howard, Carol Pace and husband Mike and Elaine Fretwell and husband Jeff; sister, Irene Montgomery; grandchildren, Philip Dagger, Anida Mackens, Stephen Dagger, Kristin Hileman, Freddie Swinney, Jason Dagger, Chase Fretwell, Chance Fretwell and Cade Fretwell; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Montana Dagger, Brandon and Allie Mackens, Kiernan and Macy Dagger, Brynn and Will Hileman, Markcus Kellera and Brayden and Cayton Swinney.

She was preceded in death by husband, William Robert Dagger; parents, Johnny and Emma Cayton; and grandson, Michael Keller.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Taylor, Mich.
