Daniel J. Lynch

Daniel J. Lynch, 67, passed away Feb. 20 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1948, in Atlantic City, N.J., and was the second oldest of 12 children. Straight out of high school he joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He retired early from the service in 1985 due to open heart surgery as Sgt. First Class. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a friend to many people.
There will be no funeral services at this time. There will be a small private family gathering one year from his death for immediate family members only as adheres to his wishes.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Lynch; four children – Doreen Patterson, Fairhope, Daniel Lynch, Eldridge, Jenean Zayas, Pensacola, Fla., and Angela Alack, Hodges; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
