Mamie Lou Baggett

Mamie Lou Baggett, 91, passed away March 20 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County to Robert and Mary Williams Davis. She was a homemaker and member of Hodges Convention Baptist Church.

Services will be March 23 at 2 p.m. at Hodges Convention Baptist Church with Bro. Thomas Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Pam Clement of Muscle Shoals; four sons, Charles Baggett and wife Angela of Valdosta, Ga., Carl Baggett and wife Diane of Red Bay, Kenneth Baggett and wife Juanita of Moulton and David Baggett and wife Donna of Hodges; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evie Jane Brooks and Faye McCarley, both of Moulton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Baggett; son, Hilton Baggett; daughter, Marie Brown; son-in-law, Terry Clement; sister, Amy Baggett; three brothers, Clinton Davis, Lester Davis and Shelby Davis; and step-brother, James Ed Davis.

Visitation will be March 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, and she will lie in state Wednesday at the church from noon to 2 p.m.
