Connie Elaine Plylar Willingham

Connie Elaine Plylar Willingham, age 66, Russellville, passed away April 11 at her residence.

Connie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family very much.  She loved working in her flower gardens and having her cats around.

The visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. April 14 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Taylor Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Van Willingham; sons, Scott Simpson and Brian Willingham; grandchildren, Christian Simpson, Kailee Simpson, Justin Thompson and Sheena Baker; great-grandchildren, Victoria Rose Thompson, Clinton Baker and Addie Wade; brothers, Jerry Hulsey and James Plylar; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Plylar, and grandmother, Josephine Hulsey.

The pallbearers will be Shone Willingham, Derrick Willingham, Jerry Garrett, Brandon Garrett, Henry Martinez and Alex Macias.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Amedysis Hospice and the doctors and nurses that have taken care of Connie during her illness.
