Tommie Allen, 79, Russellville, was born Jan. 19, 1937, and passed away May 5 at his home.
He lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. He owned and operated Triple A for 40 years.
Visitation was May 7 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Services followed at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Tony Gasaway officiating. Burial followed in Bethsaida Cemetery.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Allen; children, Debra and husband Larry Williams, Mary and husband Shane Lane, George and wife Marlene Allen, Rat and wife Lana Allen, Sandy Gaston, Christy and husband Mike Hasheider and Eddie Hicks; sister, Dorothy Scott; brother, Roy and wife Marveline Allen; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents Lester and Estelle Allen; sister Martha Franks; son, Danny Allen; and granddaughter, Lauren Gaston.
Pallbearers include Zack Allen, Kent Allen, Robby McGalliard, Justin Williams, Josh Lane, Allen Gaston, Andrew Pennington and Jonathan Motes. Honorary pallbearers include J.L. McCluskey, Dan Smith, Hollis Gaston, Dewayne Warhurst, Dwain Clement and Ricky McClanahan.
