Montgomery, Rice wed May 7

Barry Keith and Samantha Ann Montgomery of Russellville are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Toshia Nichole Montgomery, to Daryl Paxton Rice, son of Daryl and Karen Rice of Russellville.

The bride is the granddaughter of Charles and Margaret Montgomery and Patsy Williams and the late Qunnice Williams, all of Russellville. The groom is the grandson of Thomas and Mary Rice of Phil Campbell and the late Barney and Martha McMurry of Russellville.

The two were married in a 5 p.m. ceremony May 7 at their church with officiating minister Darren Steward. The church was decorated with blush pink roses and baby’s breath along with wildflowers in shades of pink.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Barry Montgomery.

The bride wore an elegant cream gown with an overlay of Victorian lace. The dress buttoned all the way down the back, ending in a flowing train. An accent belt of pearls and sequins completed the gown. The bride wore also a fingertip veil with multiple layers, edged with pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and baby’s breath.

The matron of honor was Kayla Tarascou of Russellville, friend of the bride, who wore a brown, tea-length dress. Brides matrons included Letha Lizana, friend of the bride, and Holly Montgomery of Russellville, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaid was Abby Brooke Montgomery of Russellville, sister of the bride. Brides matrons and the bridesmaid wore blush pink. All had bouquets of pink roses and wildflowers.

The best man was Corey Odom of Phil Campbell, friend of the groom. Groomsmen included Josh Wilson and Seth Brown of Phil Campbell, friends of the groom, and Nate Montgomery of Russellville, brother of the bride. Ushers included Hunter and Tanner James, both of Russellville, and Devan Wilson of Littleville, all nephews of the bride.

Flower girls Pamelah and Kylie Wilson of Littleville, nieces, wore beige with lace and pearls. Ringbearer was Hudson Cash Montgomery, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at the A.W. Todd Centre in Russellville.
