Helen Jessie Johnson Chambless

Helen Jessie Johnson Chambless, age 89, Hamilton, passed away May 18 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. She was born in Glensferry, Idaho, March 31, 1927, to Emil and Mary Johnson.

The visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. May 21 at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Ted Burleson, Bro. Truitt Allison and Bro. Todd Clippard officiating. Burial will be at the Hamilton Memory Gardens.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ronald A. Chambless and wife Anna, Ricky G. Chambless and wife Jane and Bonnie E. Roberts; grandchildren, Ricky Thomas Chambless and wife Krista, Christopher Heath Chambless and wife Elisha, Ronald Lee Chambless and wife Crystal, David Lee Chambless and wife Chelsea, Jessica Allison Roberts, Jackie Thomas Peoples, Presha Darlene Winner and husband Carl and Teddy Shane Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Wilson, Wesley, Emma, Sarah, Kaylee, Reagan, Jake, Bo, Loxley, Em, Drake, Carson, Gage, Griffin, Kaitlyn, Karlie, Brady, Alex, Drew; sister, Jean Thomas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allison Thomas Chambless; son, Paul Edward Chambless; daughters, Sharon Patrick Chambless and Cherry Chambless; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

The pallbearers will be her grandsons, Ricky Chambless, Chris Chambless, Ronald Chambless, David Chambless, Jackie Peoples and Teddy Armstrong.
