Verona Mae James

Verona Mae James, age 83, of Russellville, passed away May 24.
Visitation will be May 26 from noon to 2 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral services will be May 26 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Houston James Jr.; parents, Claude and Dessie Jones; and five brothers.
She is survived by her children, Ricky Joe James and wife Sandra and Brenda Gail Davenport; siblings Leverne Jones, Wayne Jones and Nettie Carroll; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shannon James, Jeremy James, Hunter James, Corey Snow, Dylan Snow and Johnny Black.
