John M. Davidson

John “8 Ball” Morgan Davidson, 69, Russellville, passed away May 28 at Brookwood Medical Center.

John was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and member of First United Methodist Church. He was past president of the Rotary Club and was self-employed as an appraiser/real estate broker.

Memorial service will be June 1 at noon at First United Methodist Church, Russellville, with Bo Lloyd and Clinton Busler officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time.

Survivors include wife June Davidson; sons Charles Brian Davidson and Marshall Key Davidson; daughters-in-law Kim Veitch Davidson and Shanda Bizzle Davidson; grandchildren Taylor and Jackson Davidson; niece Jenny Davidson Stone; niece-in-law Jennifer Nale Davidson; and great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Key Clarke, Harold Moore, Randy Mink, Randy Cooper, Gene Matthews and Briggs Arrington.

He was preceded in death by parents John Marshall and Icie Brown Davidson; brother Duane Davidson; and nephew Duane Davidson Jr.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Russellville.
