Talton Earl Taylor, age 56, Russellville, passed away May 29 at his residence.

Talton worked as a superintendent for 30 years at Franklin Homes. He attended Divine Baptist Church.

The visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. May 31 at Spry Memorial Chapel with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in the chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. June 1 at Franklin Memory Gardens. Bro. Caley Farris will be officiating.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 16 years, Teresa Tittle Taylor; daughters, Jessica and husband Michael Houston and Hanna Taylor; mother, Martha Jean Taylor; sister, Elline and husband Glen Jarnigan; nephew, Randy and wife Karla Jarnigan; great-nephews, Camron and Alex Jarnigan; nephew, Michael Jarnigan; brother, Dennie and wife Cheryl Taylor; niece, Kristy and husband Brandon Vandiver; great-nieces, Madison, Morgan and MaKinley Vandiver; great-nephew, Parker Vandiver; mother-in-law, Pearly Tittle; brother-in-law, Ray and wife LeeAnn Tittle; nephew, Jake Tittle; niece, Whitney and husband Jonathan Sanders; great-nephews, Levi and Aiden; sister-in-law, Lynn Clark and fiancé Keith Owens; nephew, Dalton Clark; and his little buddy, Saxton Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin O’Neal Taylor; brother, Troy Gene Taylor; niece, Brenda Jarnigan; father-in-law, Glen Tittle; and grandparents, Gilbert and Bennie Taylor and Herbert and Susie Willingham.

The pallbearers will be Larry Oliver, Ben Johnson, Ricky Hargett, Art Brown, Chad Oliver, and Gary Parrish.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Randy Jarnigan, Michael Jarnigan, Camron Jarnigan, Alex Jarnigan, Jake Tittle, Dalton Clark and Chase Oliver.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the ECM ICU staff, ECM 6^th floor staff; and to the Hospice of North Alabama nurses, Kasi, Kathy and Sandy, for the love and care shown to the family.
