Justin Dale Bond

Justin Dale Bond, 39, of Littleville  passed away June 16 at ECM Hospital after a brief illness.

Visitation will be June 19 at First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church.  Burial will take place in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery. Officiating will be ministers Seth Hood and Roger Bond.

Justin was employed with Elixir Doors and Metal Company and was a member of Colbert Heights First Baptist Church.

Justin was a good husband and father and a friend to all who knew him. He was always willing to do what was asked without any questions.  In his sickness, he never complained one time. He said that he accepted it for what it was, and that he was good with it and hoped that everyone else could be. He was a special and precious person.  His favorite phrase was, “It is what it is”.

Justin is survived by wife, Susan Ann (McCaig) Bond; parents, Kenneth Dale and Brenda K. Bond; children, Katelyn Danielle Bond, Anna Kay Bond, Morgan Leigh Bond and Olivia Grace Bond; father-in-law, Stanley McCollum; mother-in-law, Judy McCollum.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Bond, Carlton Gibson, Brad McCollum, Buddy Stokes, Jr., Crowe Horton and Chris McCollum.

Honorary bearers will be his men’s Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Colbert Heights.

Our thanks from Justin and family to those who supported him and his family in his sickness and in his passing.  A special thanks to the staff at ECM Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
