Clifton Wilton “CW” Smelser , age61 of Russellville, AL passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016.
Visitation will be July 6, 1-3 PM at Akins Funeral Home Russellville. Funeral services will be July 6 at 3PM in the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Richardson and Bro. Donnie Amos officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie Clifton and Margie “Willard” Smelser and his grandparents OW and Beulah Willingham and Oscar and Ida Smelser.
He is survived by his sister Mary Lou Henry and husband Don, brother Ricky Gene Smelser and wife Jennifer, nephews Aaron Henry and Nathan Henry, Nieces Jessica Miller and Jennifer Gott and husband Tim, Great nephews Hunter Miller, Jonathan Henry, and Elijah Gott, Great Nieces Lily Miller, Victoria Gott and Reilly Gott, and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Dean, Doyle Greenhill, Aaron Henry, Nathan Henry, Charles Ray Smelser, Jeff Willingham and Wade Willingham.
Song Leader will be Floyd Willingham Jr.
He was a member of Posey’s School Church of Christ.
