An Aug. 3 car chase resulted in the arrest of two suspects – Demarcus Leandus Smith Jr., 18, of Russellville, and a 15-year-old boy, who were charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property – and RPD stayed on the hunt for a third suspect: Zachary Charles Groce, 21, of Russellville, who was arrested Aug. 10.

Officers reported that after the suspect was taken into custody, illegal substances were found in his possession, and he will now be facing additional charges as well as being charged in connection with the vehicle break in and chase.

Groce is charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle; theft of property third degree; possession of a controlled substance; and possession of marijuana second degree.
