Donald Horace Lindsey

Donald Horace Lindsey, age 79, Russellville, passed away Sept. 8 at ECM Hospital.

Mr. Lindsey worked for years in maintenance at TVA. He was a wonderful husband, a loving father and a special person to his grandchildren.

The visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sept. 11 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 3 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Richard Parker. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emory Bud and Bethany (Smith) Lindsey, and sister Betty Borden.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 60 years, Mary Marceline Green Lindsey; sons, Steve Lindsey and wife Deborah and Tim Lindsey and wife Donna; grandson, T.J. Lindsey; granddaughter, Jordan Lindsey; sisters, Margaret Lindsey, Rosemary Beard, Catherine Thrasher and Annette Beem; brother, Jimmy Wayne Lindsey; a host of nieces and nephews; and special family friend, Betsy Trapp.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of ECM 6th Floor Palliative Care Unit for the love and care of the family.
