Ann Overton Moore

Ann Overton Moore, age 77, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sept. 15 at ECM Hospital.

Ann was a beautician at Kut & Kurl Beauty Shop and enjoyed working at the Franklin County Board of Registrars. She was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ. Ann loved everyone she came in contact with and was loved by them and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The visitation was 1-4 p.m. Sept. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 4 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Trae Durden and Bro. Jack Henson. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her father, V.L. “Babe” Overton; mother, Jessie “Johnnie” Overton; and brother, Larry Pat Overton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and best friend of 56 years, Charles Lowell Moore; her much-loved sons, Gary Wayne Moore, Terry Wade Moore and wife Julie, Barry Lynn Moore and wife Deedra; and cherished grandchildren, Kelley Moore, Elizabeth Moore Edwards and husband Brandon, Abby Moore, Andrew Moore and Ashton Moore; great-grandchild, Olivia Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be her sons, Gary Moore, Terry Moore and Barry Moore; grandson, Andrew Moore; and close friends, Steve Pounders and Frankie Hammock.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Irons, all the nurses and techs on 6th Floor Palliative Care at ECM for the love and care shown to the family during this time. We would also like to thank the many friends who came by for visits, sent cards or offered prayers.
