Leonard Morrison
Leonard Morrison, 98, passed away Sept. 21 at his residence. He was born in Ohio, was a railroad employee for 30 years and retired from Conrail. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II.
Services were Sept. 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church, Red Bay, with Bro. Steve Lindsay, Sherrill Butz and Robin Herbster officiating. Burial was in Bolton Cemetery, Russellville.
Survivors are his wife, Alethe Morrison, Russellville; daughter, Janet Geis and husband Donnie, Temperance, Mich.; three step-daughters, Kathy Kolinski, Toledo, Ohio, Sherrill Butz and husband Tim, Russellville, and Dawn Young and husband Jackie, Waterloo; four step-sons, Eddie Herbster and wife Denise, Sheffield, Nate Herbster and wife Tonya, Town Creek, Paul Herbster, Curtis, Ohio, and Robin Herbster and wife Keri, Greenhill; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jim Morrison.
His family served as pallbearers.
Visitation was Sept. 25, 1:30-2:30 p.m., at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church.
