Louise DeVaney Britton

Louise DeVaney Britton, age 85, Vina, passed away Oct. 21 at her residence.

Louise was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. She attended Eastside Church of Christ in Red Bay. She was a retired beautician, having owned her own beauty shop in Frankfort. She was also retired from H.D. Lee Company in Russellville.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Oct. 23 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 24 at Spry Memorial Chapel with a two hour visitation prior to the service. Officiating will be Bro. Danny Fuller. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Preston O. DeVaney and C.C. Britton; parents, Grady and Rosie Oliver; sister, Betty Washington; brother, Junior Oliver; nephew, Kenny Oliver; and niece, Rosemary Miller.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Gary DeVaney and wife Reba and Terry DeVaney and wife Mylinda; grandchildren, Heath DeVaney of Russellville, Mandy Harris and husband David of Southaven, Miss., and Heather Elliott and husband Darrell of Vina; great-grandchildren, Jacob DeVaney, Colton DeVaney, Christian King, Cara Elliott and Preston Harris; sister, Doris Peden; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Heath DeVaney, Jacob DeVaney, Christian King, Darrell Elliott, David Harris and Colton Hovater.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Keller Hospice; caregivers, nieces Tina Oliver Vincent and Debbie Oliver; and family friend, Debbie Nale Bradford, for all your love and care to our mother.
