Billy Hugh Hamilton
Billy Hugh Hamilton, 64, passed away Nov. 16 at Russellville Hospital.
He lived his life in Russellville and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ in Russellville and was active in the Franklin County Amateur Radio Club (WB4BHH). He loved Golden Tiger football as much as he loved Crimson Tide football. He was a Golden Tiger himself and also coached youth football, PeeWee’s, T-ball and softball. “Roll Tide, Billy Hugh, you’ve got the best seat in the house now!” Prior to his extended illness, he enjoyed drinking coffee at Jack’s, watching his favorite teams, attending church and spending time with his three daughters and his beautiful grandchildren.
Visitation will be Nov. 18 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with services to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Jack Henson. Burial will follow at Belgreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gene Ellison, Rex Mayfield, Tommy Mashburn, John Payne, Tommy Sherrod and Jackie Fowler. Honorary bearers will be members of the Russellville Youth Football Alumni and the Franklin County Amateur Radio Club.
