Chamber invites all to happy Holly Day

Fun and games will be a’plenty Dec. 3 at the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Holly Day celebration.

This will be the third year for the festive event, to be held at the A.W. Todd Centre in Russellville. Holly Day will begin at 10 a.m.

Santa Claus will make an appearance for photo opps with each good little girl and boy, and children can also take the opportunity to write their letter to Santa. Holly Day will also feature entertainment and activities such as gingerbread house building. Each attendee can enjoy a slice of pizza and a drink.

Additionally, winners of the Christmas Card Coloring Contest will be announced, and local vendors will be offering unique Christmas gifts for purchase.

“We’ll have a little bit of everything. It will be fun,” said chamber director Cassie Medley. Admission is $5. Holly Day will wrap up at 2 p.m.
