Betty Gann Barnett

Betty Gann Barnett, 73, passed away Dec. 18 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. She was born in Franklin County to Eules Veto and Pearlie Mae Keeton Gann. She worked at Lance Garment in Red Bay.

Graveside services will be Dec. 20 at 3 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Miss., with Bro. Kevin Palmer officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Kimmins and husband Bill of Golden, Miss., and Beverly Guyton and husband Scott of Golden, Miss; four grandchildren, Derek Jackson and wife Jennifer of Belmont, Miss., Lauren Hope Jackson and Whitney Guyton, both of Golden, Miss., and Brianna Bolton of Tuscaloosa; two great-grandchildren, Kamron Jackson and K.B. Jackson; nine brothers and sisters, Charles Gann, Johnny Gann and wife Rita, Leroy Gann and wife Brenda), Brenda Gail Reese and husband Steve, Terry Gann and wife Gail, Michael Palmer, Phillip Palmer and wife Kathy, Sandra Palmer and husband Karl and Nancy Riddle; her step-mother, Birdie Mae Gann; son-in-law, Ronnie Parker; and brother-in-law, Bobby Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Barnett; her parents; daughter, Bridget Barnett; and a sister, Shirley Patterson.

Pallbearers will be Chris Pierce, Ethan Pierce, Chad Gann, Lonnie Gann, Tony Gann and Brian Gann.
