Kennith Wayne Stidham

Kennith Wayne Stidham, 66, passed away Dec. 18 at ECM Hospital. He was born in Franklin County to Grady and Opal Elrod Stidham. He was a farmer. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church and the Pleasant Site Fire Department.

Services will be Dec. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Ten Acre Field Church, Red Bay, with Bro. Steve Ledbetter, Bro. Marshall Green and David Elrod officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Barbara McGough Stidham; three daughters, Sarah Ann Horton and husband Joel, Tesa Lee Stidham and Amy Jo Stidham and husband Shannon; his pride and joy grandchildren, Autumn Isabella Stidham, Billy Wayne Horton and J.D. Stidham; three brothers, Donald Stidham Foster (Donnie), Billy Stidham and wife Nancy and Ricky Stidham and wife Alisa; three sisters, Carolyn Mason and husband Alben, Joyce Senter and husband Ray and Sandra Armstrong and husband Tony; and host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmy Strawbridge; his grandparents; his father and mother-in-law, R.L. and Ruth McGough; and a brother-in-law, David Earl “Buck” McGough.

Pallbearers will be Dexter Winchester, Tommy Johnson, Scott Shewart, Neal Quinn, Mac Sparks and Jerry Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-nephews.

Visitation will begin Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. and continue until service time at Ten Acre Field.
