Larry Joe Hill

Larry Joe Hill, 70, passed away July 19 at his residence. He was born in Tishomingo, Miss., and was raised in Red Bay by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Hill. He retired from Tiffin MotorHomes after 36 years and was a member of the Red Bay Holy Church of Christ.

Services were July 22 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Wayne Bumgart officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery.

Survivors include four children: Denise Spencer and husband Don of Red Bay, Sherry Shook of Red Bay, Larry Hill of Portland, Texas, and Renea Chandler and husband Ronnie of Vina; eight grandchildren: Isaac and Anna Belle Spencer, Luke and Abby Shook, Corbin Triplett, Autumn Chandler and Elijah and Weston Hill; two brothers: Michael Hill and Dennis Hill, both of Birmingham; and his aunt: Mary Yates of Birmingham.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, JoAnn Hill; his parents; his grandparents; and two sisters, Patsy Hill and Jamie Hill.

Pallbearers will be Don Spencer, Ronnie Chandler, Isaac Spencer, Jody Harris, Tony Kelton and Thomas Kelton.

Visitation was July 21, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
