RCS Board approves personnel changes

The Russellville City Schools Board of Education held a special-called meeting July 16 to approve personnel changes that needed to be made before the beginning of the new school year in August.

There was one employment in position for Madalan Benford, who will be a teacher at West Elementary School.

Norman Lier was improved for employment in supplement as a supplemental part-time assistant principal.

Four transfers were approved. Tiffany Warhurst was approved to move from counselor at Russellville High School to assistant principal at Russellville Elementary School. Stacy Rackley was approved to move from teacher at RHS to teacher at Russellville Middle School. Jess Smith was approved to move from teacher at RMS to teacher at RHS. Vickie Sutton was approved to move from SPE Aide at WES to PE Aide at WES.

Bryant Bonds was approved to be a pro consult for the RHS football team for the 2018-19 academic year. The maximum payment for the athletic consultant at the high school level shall not exceed $1,380 and is paid by the Football Booster Club.
