Contemporary Christian artist Austin French entertains as the 2018 Roc the Lot headliner.

Artist Austin French performs at Roc the Lot

Attendance was slightly down for Roc the Lot this year – presumable because of tax free weekend and the unpredictable weather – but it was still a good turnout on Sloss Lake according to pastor Shawn Reathford.

“It was an awesome response by our vendors and community,” he said.

Event organizers were able to give out more than 350 backpacks filled with school supplies to those who registered for the event. It was all part of an effort by Redemption Outreach Church and the Russellville Dream Center to give back to the community.

Headliner Austin French delivered an upbeat performance that had audience members on their feet worshiping in the evening heat. He performed new and previously-released music that received positive response from the crowd.
