Russellville Reads: Let RPL help with your resolutions

Now that Christmas is in our rear view and 2018 is coming to a close, the library is setting its sights on the future. We are so excited to jump right in to 2019 and can’t wait to see you all.

This time of year is great for conclusions and new beginnings! Luckily, the library has a wonderful collection to help assist you with whatever grand plans you have for the New Year.

Bad habits holding you back? Did you know the library has print, audio, video and online resources available to assist you with overcoming the obstacles in your way? Whether you’re interested in cutting carbs, quitting smoking, being codependent no more, cutting back on spending or any number of things, the library is a great place to start on your road to success and happiness.

However, don’t just settle for letting things go. Why not take this opportunity to learn something you’ve been interested in for a while? Need to get in shape? Want to take that GED? How would you like to learn to paint, cook, sew, quilt or knit? Are you interested in carpentry? How about beekeeping? The library has all the information you need to get started with countless new potential hobbies.

Would you like to start your own business? Would you like to save money and retire early? How about travel the world? Learn more about religion, psychology or history?

New Year’s resolutions come in all shapes and forms! We would love to help you on your way to health, harmony and happiness.

So, this year, why not make your resolution to read a new book? Or better yet, stop by the library located at 110 E. Lawrence St., in beautiful, downtown Russellville and apply for a library card?
