Red Bay boys get win over Northside
The Red Bay Tigers used a four-run third inning to pull away from Northside and win 6-3 Friday.
Northside got on the board first with one run in the top of the first inning. In the third inning, Alex Burroughs tied the game on an RBI double, scoring Kolby Bragwell.
Chase Allen singled in Burroughs to take the lead for Red Bay. Peyton Green singled in Kaleb Bragwell, and Allen came around to score to round out the four-run third for the Tigers.
Allen and Green both had two hits each. Burroughs and Bragwell both doubled.
Green got the win for Red Bay on the mound, pitching a complete game, striking out three and giving up eight hits and two earned runs.
