Christmas in July kicks off ‘The Roxy’s Christmas Spectacular’

To celebrate Christmas in July, the Franklin County Arts & Humanities Council will be screening “The Greatest Showman” movie at the Roxy July 12 at 7 p.m. with free admission.

This movie, inspired by the imagination of P.T. Barnum, features Hugh Jackman. “The Greatest Showman” is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

The Arts Council also has its sights set on another “greatest show,” coming up this holiday season. Christmas in July will kick off the festivities for “The Roxy’s Christmas Spectacular,” which will be held Dec. 5-8.

“The Roxy’s Christmas Spectacular” will be the Arts Council’s big holiday stage production for this year.

Public performance tickets will go on sale July 12 at 6 p.m. prior to the movie. Main floor seats are reserved; the costs are:

Orchestra, $15 – first 10 rows/all sections

Mezzanine, $10 – rows 11-19/all sections

Balcony, $6 – general admission
