Bank Independent has been recognized as part of Forbes’ annual nationwide list of America’s Best-In-State Banks 2020 and ranks No. 1 in the state of Alabama.

This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Forbes Best-In-State Banks 2020 list honors the top banks based on the results of independent surveys involving approximately 25,000 U.S. consumers who were asked to rate the financial institutions at which they have or have had checking accounts.

Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks and credit unions in the areas of trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice.

The awards list was announced June 25 and can be viewed on the Forbes website, www.forbes.com/best-in-state-banks.
