BHS’ Will Bonner surpasses 1,000 career points

Belgreen’s Will Bonner scored 28 points to lead the Belgreen Bulldogs to a 79-49 win over Addison this past week. In doing so, Bonner surpassed the 1,000careerpoint milestone as a junior for the Bulldogs.

Bonner was hot out from the start, scoring 15 of Belgreen’s 22 first-quarter points to give the Bulldogs a 22-14 lead at the end of one quarter of play.

Addison stormed back in the second quarter, outscoring Belgreen 20-16 and cutting the lead to 38-34 at halftime.

Belgreen took total control of the game in the second half, outscoring Addison 13-5 in the third quarter and 28-10 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Collin Bonner and Scout Bragwell were also in double figures for the Bulldogs. Collin Bonner scored 16 points, while Bragwell added 12 points. Austin James finished the game with nine points, Isac Willingham with three points, and Hadden Taylor and Will Donahoe scored two points each.
