Harrison “Chip” Clarke Jr.

Harrison “Chip” Clarke Jr., 62, of Russellville passed away Dec. 5 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Dec. 9 from noon to 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall at New Beginnings Church in Moulton. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Born Oct. 5, 1958, to the late Harrison and Betty Dameron Clarke, Chip graduated from Marist High School in Atlanta, Ga., where he was the manager of the football team. He then earned a degree in history from Piedmont College in Demorest, Ga.

Chip was a member of Gateway Church of Christ.

Survivors include his daughter, Angelia Napier; stepdaughter, Clemmie “Annie” Newsome; grandsons, Ayden Heneghan and Ayble Napier; brother, Jim Clarke; sisters, Elizabeth Chandler and Carolyn Horton; and nieces, Leslie Harris and Christa Trades.

The family extends special thanks to the Birmingham Specialty Hospital, UAB and his nurses and aides from New Beacon Hospice.
