Mary Agnes McKinney

Mary Agnes McKinney, 82, passed away Jan. 30 at Generations of Red Bay.  She was born in Red Bay and worked as a seamstress at Blue Bell Manufacturing for 32 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Red Bay.

Services will be Feb. 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Single Springs Cemetery, Vina. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four children, Debra Miller, Donna Bolton, Dewayne McKinney and Darryl McKinney; five grandchildren, LaShea Humphres (Jason), Sonya Miller, J.R. Miller (Amanda), Phoelica Raper (Eric) and Jessica Peden (Eddie Ray); seven great-grandchildren, Emma and Madelyn Humphres, Dillon and Devin Whitehead, Levi Raper, Kylie Peden and Parker Bolton; one sister, Carolyn Medley (Roy); and one sister-in-law, Glenda Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Clemmie Rogers; husband, Roy Reid McKinney; two brothers, Carlton and Tommy Rogers; one sister, Margaret Sanders and her husband, Clark; a son-in-law, J.T. Miller; and one grandson, Mark Bolton.

Pallbearers will be Roy Medley, Harold McKinney, Tim Sanders and Randy Sanders.

Visitation will Feb. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
