Red Bay Tiger boys blow out New Site

The Red Bay Tigers dropped 12 three-pointers en route to a 68-36 blow out win over New Site, Mississippi, Monday of this past week.

Carson Corum hit four three-pointers for the Tigers, while Paden Allison and B.P. Blair hit three threes each.

Red Bay jumped out to 15-8 first quarter lead and effectively put the game away in the second quarter, outscoring New Site 23-6 to take a 38-14 halftime lead.

The Tigers extended their lead to 55-26 at the end of the third quarter.

Lawson Glover led Red Bay with 14 points, followed by Corum with 13 points. Allison and Blair had nine points each. Andrew Ray added eight points, Charlie Huffman seven points, Cody Carnes six points and Holden Inmon two points.

According to maxpreps.com, the Tigers fell to Haleyville Dec. 23, 61-41. The Tigers’ next game will be against Lamar County Jan. 4, following the Smoky Mountain Classic going on now.

In girls action, the Lady Tigers fell to New Site 62-44 and to Haleyville 55-38, according to MaxPreps. The girls are playing the Keith Davis Tourney this week.
