NW-SCC announces registration event Jan. 8

With the spring semester right around the corner, Northwest-Shoals Community College will host a registration event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The registration event will take place in the Victor P. Poole Administration Building on the Shoals campus, building 100, with the exception of placement testing, which will be held in building 127.

The Saturday registration event will offer one-stop assistance in the registration process with admission to NW-SCC, course advising, financial aid, placement testing for those who arrive by 12:30 p.m. and payments through the cashier’s office.

To pre-register for the event, visit https://sforce.co/3eRqLDu to select an appointment time.

Those who have not yet applied for admission to NW-SCC can do so online at nwscc.edu.

Students who have not already applied for financial aid are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid immediately. The FAFSA can be submitted online at studentaid.gov, and the NW-SCC school code is 005697.

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 13.

For more information about the registration event, contact NW-SCC executive director of enrollment management Carl Collins at carl.collins@nwscc.edu or visit nwscc.edu.
