Red Bay tennis teams revamp under new coach

Adam Pharr will be returning to coach the Red Bay tennis team after a two-year hiatus. He will take over a young group looking to turn the corner.

“Both teams had a tough time last year,” said Pharr. “Our boys are relatively young, and we have some who are new to the sport. We do have quite a few kids who are showing a lot of potential.”

The Red Bay boys team consists of juniors Noah Hester, Braiden Holcombe and Hayden Self and sophomores Jackson Stidham, Brock Dexter and Aiden Bennett.

The girls team is seniors Jaycee Davis, Kyndell Ozbirn, Anna Kate Kennedy and Emily Enis, sophomores Ashlyn Deaton, Shelby Nichols and Abby Hicks and eighth-graders Khloe James and Clara Nunley.
