The Phil Campbell Bobcats swept area foe East Lawrence this past week, winning 13-4 and 11-1.

In game one the Bobcats pounded out 11 hits and overcame three errors to get the win.

Phil Campbell scored three runs in the first, two in the second, four in the fifth and two each in the sixth and seventh innings.

The East Lawrence Eagles got all three of their runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Bryant Anthony had the big day at the plate, going four-for-four with an RBI and scoring four runs.

Cam Habada had two hits and three RBIs and scored two runs. Cole Pace had a hit, and Hunter Baker had a double. Mason Swinney and Jacob Barnwell scored two runs each.

Habada got the win, pitching six innings, allowing two hits and striking out 10.

In game two, the Bobcats beat the Eagles 11-1.

Swinney went the distance on the mound, allowing one hit and striking out 11.

Phil Campbell scored two runs in the first inning, three in the third, four in the fourth and one each in the fifth and sixth.

Anthony had a double and scored four runs. Sage Raper had two hits and scored a run. Swinney had a hit and an RBI and scored two runs. Cole Pace had two RBIs.

The Bobcats improved their record to 11-4.
