Cedars Church leads community action for Serve Day

The Canteen, located by the A.W. Todd Centre in downtown Russellville, got a spruce up recently. Tanner and Lindsey Hall, lead pastors at Cedars Church, worked alongside members of the community July 16 to paint the inside of the building.

“This was part of our project for Serve Day 2022,” explained Lindsey Hall. “We also assembled care packs to serve our homeless community through Community Action, built Thank You baskets for our police and firemen and painted rocks with scriptures and encouragement to place all around downtown with our Cedars Kids. It was an amazing day.”

Tanner Hall explained serving the community is an important part of their desire to give back. “We knew before we launched Cedars Church that we wanted to serve our community first,” he said. “What a way to kick that off”

He said his family and the church “look forward to being a blessing here for years to come.”

Cedars Church officially launches Sept. 4 at the Ralph C. Bishop Recreation Center in Russellville. “We invite everyone to come check out what all God is doing in and through Cedars,” Tanner Hall added.
