Anna Bell Lawler Haithcock

Anna Bell Lawler Haithcock, 75, of Phil Campbell passed away Nov. 3.

Visitation will be Nov. 6 from 6-9 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral service will be Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. with Bro. Richard Parker officiating. Burial will be in Edgar Chapel Cemetery.

Anna was a member of Edgar Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed making memorial flowers for the family and researching the Lawler and Haithcock family genealogy.

She was born June 30, 1947, in Franklin County.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Earshel and Susie Lawler; husband, Shelby Gene Haithcock; siblings, Manard James “Buddy” Lawler, Ralph T. Lawler and Jesta Marie Forsythe; her sister-in-law, Shirley Y. Motes; and her brothers-in-law, Lester O. Bill Forsythe and Harold Buck Peppers.

She is survived by her son, Timothy E. Haithcock; her siblings, Leonard L. Lawler and Opal Lawler Peppers; her sister-in-law, Betty Borden Lawler; her grandchildren, Timothy Brian Haithcock (Angel), Cody Joseph Haithcock and Amber Carson Haithcock Beeman (Trace); her great-grandchildren, Joardan Bailey Haithcock and Connor Reed Haithcock; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Alabama Hospice of the Shoals for the love and care shown during this time.
