Ruby McKinney Garrison

Ruby McKinney Garrison, 88, passed away Dec. 1 at Southern Magnolia, Golden, Miss. She was born in Belgreen to Andy and Eva Hammock McKinney. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Red Bay. She worked in garment manufacturing for more than 10 years.

Funeral services will be held Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, with Dr. Rick Bradley and Bro. Michael Baker officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her sister, Opal Garrison; special niece, Charlotte Townsend (Tommy) and their family, Crystal Edmondson (Cody), Kevin Townsend, Claudia Tucker (Cody) and Ridley Tucker; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Demp Garrison; infant daughter, Brenda Gail Garrison; brothers, J.C. McKinney and Fred McKinney; and sisters, Demple Estes, Maxine Garrison and Kathleen Williams.

Pallbearers will be Frank Garrison, Tom Estes, Glenn Garrison, Kevin Townsend, Cody Tucker, Cody Edmondson, Tyler Morrow and Austin Morrow.

Visitation will be Dec. 4 from 1-3 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay.
